How to disable file and printer sharing for microsoft
networks using gpo?

Disable the lanmanserver service on the clients. The registry key for this
service is HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\lanmanserver
the defaulkt start value for this service is 2 (automatic)
