File and printer group policy

Does anyone know a way of switching on "file and printer sharing for
Micosoft networks" for XP workstations in a 2000 AD using GPO?

50 % of the workstations do not have F&P sharing on and so are not browsable
in network neighbour hood.
Applications use network neighbourhood ie Landesk and Sophos enterprise
manager.

Hello Phill,

Here is the registry key you can push out via policy or logon script.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\lanmanserver

If you want to enable File and Print Sharing set the Start value to 2 (for
Automatic) and reboot.
