Maybe it's not software in the usual way. But hey, we all hate spam :)

Now let me see........

You give your email address to these guys, then they turn around and
SELL THAT ADDRESS to SPAMMERS, asking them not to send you any more
spam.

Now what's wrong with this picture????? <g>

Seriously, if you look around the site, these guys are SELLING
SERVICES to spammers. The pitch to YOU is they allegedly offer "an
ethical and effective solution to eliminate unsolicited bulk e-mail"
based on the premise that spammers are ethical and legitimate
"entrepreneurs" who ONLY want to send spam to those who WANT it.

I'll pass.

In fact: you report spam mailed to an adres which is already known to
spammers. So, what's the point?

(1) there are no people accusing bluefrog from selling adresses to spammers
(2) there are only messages on internet who want to make bluefrog 'black' -
or: spammers who want to give bluefrog a bad name.

If you google on bluefrog, you can read about the company and her
background. Ok, there are some ethical questions. But, there are no reports
known that bluefrog is a mala fide organisation.

Before i posted this post, i made an account with a honeypot. Until now, i
got no spam on that adres.

It's better to search first on answers until you write something down like
"i'll pass". I could also easily yell "you're a spammer who wants us not to
use bluefrog" or something. I did this NOT, because i searched first all
the post with your name ...

"Spammers are required to stop sending spam to all Blue Community
members."

< ROFL >

(1) One may not know who is sending spam. Spammers don't send legit
"From" address'

(2) If a spammer sends spam with a return hotmail address of go2len
then are you happy to get your inbox full of threats to you/your isp ?

In fact: you report spam mailed to an adres which is already known to
spammers. So, what's the point?

IF they were working for spammers then someone on a single spam email
list could end up on dozens of spammer lists.

Savvy Net users know how to avoid SPAM without using services such as this.
People who are slammed by SPAM are either ignorant, or refuse to learn.
