FIFA 2003- Hardware Graphics Accleration

I have installed the game FIFA 2003 on my computer.
However, the game doesn't open and I get this message "FIFA
2003 requires hardware graphics acceleration". I checked
and found that the computer's graphics acceleration is at
full/ extreme right. Can someone advise a solution.

You haven't mentioned what graphics card you're running, nor the driver for
it. Have you updated that driver from the manufacturer's web site lately?

Here are the Video card details-

Model: S3 Graphics ProSavageDDR
Driver: s3gnbm.sys


Hard disk- 40 gb, ram- 256 mb

This is a fairly new computer and therefore I haven't
updated the driver.

Please update the graphics, sound, etc., drivers from the various
manufacturers' web sites. If whoever built your computer just put Windows
XP on there without actually installing updated drivers for everything, then
you're running with "mini" drivers which were written for inclusion with XP
when it went on sale in October, 2001. Don't assume anything, check for
yourself.
