What graphics card does your system have and is it supported by FIFA 2004?

You need to be sure that your video card provides the needed level of
hardware support. This is getting more complex by the month and it
seems likely that this card is not capable of handling the game. It
would help if we knew what make it was. But go to the maker's site and
get the latest drivers they have for the card, and install them. And
check in Control Panel - Display - Settings. Click Advanced and look on
the Troubleshooting page. Make sure that the slider is either full
right or no more than one notch left from that

Run DxDiag to see what kind of graphics card you have.
If you have a built in graphics chip, such as one on the motherboard,
it may not be fast enough to run FIFA 2004 such as some SiS, S3 or
Mobile type chips.
A PCI or preferably an AGP card is required.
