Fields Truncated During Import

I want to import a .csv file into Access. Unfortunately, some fields have
more than 255 characters, and are truncated during the import.

How do I import the file without fields being truncated?

It depends.
If you import it as a text file be sure to define the datatype as Memo not
Text.

If you import it as an Excel file then you have to have the 2000 versions or
newer.
I think 97 and older truncated data.

I recommend processing it as a Text file as you have more control.
