I have a document that someone thought would be a great idea to put a field
that when prompted you enter a title and it puts it on every page. I do not
want this field but do not know how to get rid of it easily. Is there a way
to delete it and have it take it off every page at once or do I have to
delete it each time?

Turn on field shading so that you can see the fields more easily (Word 2003:
Tools | Options, View tab; Word 2007: Office button | Word Options, Advanced
category). Then just select and delete the fields. The repeating one is
inside the header (or footer); you can double-click to activate the
header/footer area.

Press ALT+F9 to toggle the field display so you can see to select and delete
the field.
The repeating content on each page is presumably attributable to a REF field
in the header/footer that reproduces the content of the ASK field you have
just deleted. You will have to remove the REF field also.
