feedback through speakers

I have started to get terrible feedback through my
speakers when ever i move my mouse or operate my keyboard.
Theres is also a continous buzzing from the speakers. Can
anybody shed some light on this.

One thought...
Open the soundcard's controls, and kill (MUTE) the mic channel.
