We have completed a presentation and now all at once we cannot access all
featuares of the tool bar. If I go to a new user on my computer it will work
for a few minutes. I tried uninstalling the program and reinstalling but
that did not work.

What version of PowerPoint?

There are lots of toolbars in PowerPoint. Which one's not working?
What features on it are not working?

I have power point 2003. I cannot insert new slide, slide layout, etc.

Again, you need to be more specific. You're sitting at the computer and know what
you're seeing. We aren't. Without your help, we can't picture what's going on
there.

So. You start PowerPoint by doubleclicking your presentation? Or by doing
something else?

What do you see in the "title bar" (the blue band at the very top of the program's
window)?

Are some of the options missing from the main menu bar?
Which ones (or which DO you see)?
