FC Roller Replacement Tally T8006

My Tally T8006 is saying that is needs a new FC Roller replacement - but
this message came up when there were some unrelated problems so I am not
sure if it really needs replacement. Can anyone tell me what a roller should
look lie at the end of its life and the consequences of not replacing it.

If you go to precisionroller.com you can probably find a picture of what
a new one looks like and compare that way.
