FBA booting time

Dear Sir,

I am a Freshman on Windows XP embedded.

When I build a XPe Image for my device and first bootup, the FBA
booting time is around one hour.
And I try to add new component from Target Designer for my second XPe
Image, but the FBA booting time always need one hour.

If the difference between "first Image" and "second Image" is only one
component , do anyone have idea to reduce the FBA booting time ?

Dear Sir,

More imformation is following.
I copy XPe Image data to CF and plug CF into USB card reader.
Then boot Image from CF card. (Maybe it should be called USB boot)

Dear Sean Liming,

Thanks for your great help. ^_^
I will follow your document to make a new Image and boot from USB.
So we do NOT have idea to reduce FBA booting time , even the
difference between "first Image" and "second Image" is only one
component.
Right ?

Beside, thanks for your writing , "Windows XP embedded Advanced". It
is great help for me to study Windows XP embedded. ^_^
