Hi!
I just got a new Dell computer with Windows XP on it. My computer did not
come with a modem, as I have satellite internet and don't need one. I would
like to be able to fax from my computer, but am not sure how to do it without
having a modem, or maybe its not even possible. Any suggestions? Thanks!!

Lots of places offering fax service (depending on where you are in the
world) prices vary.
try a google search for "fax over the internet"
Good Luck,
Martin

You can *receive* faxes for free using eFax. There or anywhere else will
charge you for *sending* faxes through their service. You could try using
http://www.tpc.int/ to send faxes but expect unreliable and delayed results
(it's a community, not a service). If you have a telephone line, get a fax
modem.

I've used SendtoFax.com to send faxes (not free but cheap) and eFax to
receive faxes (free) with good results. I bought an all in one printer that
sends and receives through my internet cable modem and it works fine. Got
rid of SendtoFax.com and just use eFax for receiving the occasional fax.
