Windows XP faxing dynamic pages in vb.net

Im working on a project where we have to send bulk faxes .We have a database of customer address . The matter of the fax changes for each record in the database .I got a solution by writing the matter each time to a notepad file . the problem is that when the file is faxed a number appears at the top of the document .
Can any one tell me how to overcome this . or how to send a coverpage alone from the program .


Pls .....help ...
