Fax Set-up unable to locate file

In running "add/remove" in "set program access"...trying
to install ability to FAX.
When gathering info a message is returned " unable to
locate fxscount.h" in XP Home Edition. Small Business XP
edition is installed. Have inserted that disk to no
avail. Thanks! Linda

Please clarify what you're trying to do. You are trying to install what fax
client on what OS?

Have XP Windows and XP Office small business. Would like
the ability to fax. Have gone to start/set program
access and defaults/add-remove windows programs. The
Windows component wizard shows "fax" and the box is not
checked. If I check and highlight "fax" the next
message; configuring appears; then a pop-up says unable toEdition.

Since I have Office Small Business XP, I can not insert
the home edition CD. I did insert both office small
business CD's to no avail. Appreciate your help.

It is asking you for the Windows XP CD, not the office CD. Windows XP Fax is
an operating system utility, not an office utility.

Okay, I have XP Windows and XP Office Small Business.
Going to start/set program access and defaults/add remove
windows components..I see the "FAX" box is not checked.
So I checked it, highlighted it and proceeded. Then a
pop-up configuration screen comes up, it says "Please
install CD for XP Home Edition, cannot locate
fxscount.h . I do not have the home edition, so I did
insert the 2 Office Small business CD's, to no avail
Would really like the ability to use Windows XP fax.
Thank you. Linda
