I dont have the disk that came with my xp Im trying to
install my fax machine., and its asking me for the
disk....file (fxscfgwz) located in D:\i386...
Isnt this file located somewhere on my computer which I
can point to?

I tried searching all the files and the hidden folders on
my system and the file does not exist..on my hard-drive

If it is there, it may be in a .cab file. Try looking for a directory
containing a bunch of .cab files.

You need your XP CD to install it. Look for fxscfgwz.dl_ (there are
also other files to install as well, which are required).
You will have to get the disk to install it or buy a third party Fax
software program.
