Fax Monitor Not Working

I recently noticed that FAX monitor no longer works and
there are no sounds when the phone line rings. Although
FAX still appears to work OK it is very inconvenient as I
do not always know when a fax is coming in (system set to
manual answer). I have SP1 installed and my FAX version
is 5.1 (Build 2600.xpSP2.030422-1633.SP1) if that means
anything? Thanks.

How did you set the tracking options for the Fax Printer?

Under Fax Printer Config. I have "model" = Microsoft
Shared Fax Driver; under "Tracking" I have Conexant
SmartHSFi V92 56k Speakerphone PCI modem.
Both "Automatically Open Fax monitor when Fax
sent/received" boxes both checked. When I click on Tools-
Fax Monitor, a new box appears but seems to refer only to
received faxes. It has a picture of a phone on the left
side and a pc on the right & shows Hide Answer Now and
More. Nothing there for transmit and nothing appears when
I send or receive - also no sounds. Thanks for your help.
