Fax console

Windows XP Professional
I try to send a fax from Word.
All goes OK, including dialup.
However, the call does not go through due to numbering error, dixit PC.
I send a fax to my own number on a different line, so I cant mistype
repeatedly.
The fax console does not show any outgoing fax.
I do not see where the waiting fax is stored to erase it.
The fax console says "All fax printers are unaccessible"
Where is the error?

If you have a third party firewall installed that might be causing the
problem

How could that be? this does not go through the DSL but through a telephone
line on another physical line that the one where the DSL is coming/going?
