Favourites reset after IE7 installed

Hi,

When I was using IE6 I had my favourites set to only display commonly
used items. The rest were accessed by picking the double downward
pointing arrows.

Since updating to IE7, all my favourites have been retained, only now
the feature of only showing commonly used items has gone and no matter
what I do, it is as though the setting has been switched off.

Does anyone know what the setting is to restore that function?

In IE 6, the setting is :
Internet Options > Advanced tab > "Enable Personalized Favorite menu"
Restart IE after that.

Thanks. I had that set in both IE^ and IE&, but still no luck. It is
as though something needs to be reset in the registry.

Give it sometime. When you upgraded, the recently used list got reset and now
it is making that again. See here :
