Favourites in Browser Adress Bar!

Hi,

When i type any alphabet into my IE address bar i get a list of my
favourites.WHY??
I did save a copy of my favourites on another partition and then copy and
pasted them to the favourites folder on C drive after reinstalling
WinXP.Could that be the cause ?? I cant remember when this didnt happen as
its been a long time since this started happening,but it is annoying.

Can anyone solve this problem ?

Go to Tools -> Internet Options > Content -> AutoComplete, and uncheck "Use
AutoComplete for Web addresses". Then, under "Clear AutoComplete history",
click "Clear forms".
