How do I stop users adding there own Favorities to IE 6.

I have removed the addresss bar on a public access PC to force users onto
address in the favorities only but I have not been able to stop users add
there own favorities and bypassing this lock down.

The info helped but I need to show favorities but stop people adding to them.
Is there any way that I can do this. The PC will be situated in a public
access area and I have to stop people access all internet site but 20 or so
that I have in a list.

Always disclose the OS when you need help with it.

If it is NTx you could use file permissions on the Favorites folder
to disallow unauthorized changes to it.
