Favorites??

Not sure if this is an IE or an XP question...and I'm
almost embarassed to ask it...but here goes:

What is the path to find Favorites on a PC running XP?

I just got a new PC running XP...the kids get the old one
running 98SE.

I want to move all my Favorites from the old PC to the
new one...but when I'm in IE no favorites are listed.

When I do a search of files and folders I see several
folders...In Documents and Settins under All Users and
under each of the Profiles that I've set up. But none of
these display when I'm in IE.

I set up a couple of new folders under Favorites while in
IE and added a favorite in each folder.

When I do a search using these new folder names I
get "there are no results to display" ??

I'm guessing that XP puts favorites in a hidden
folder?? If so, WHY???

I'd appreciate any tips on how to get the Favorites from
my old PC to be recognized on this new PC.

TIA for tips/suggestions.

C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Favorites

Easier to use IE's File | Import and Export.
