Favorites not working

In the last week I have not been able to use my favorites
drop down list. Everytime I click he computer does
nothing. What can I do?

Does the list drop down if you type alt a?

The repair option depends on your operating system. Win98 has an IE
repair option via control panel \ add and remove,
