I logged into the XP computer as the ADMIN and was able to
see the favorites list normally. If I log in as another
user, even with admin priviledges, I can't see the same
favorites list.

Please help

Sean,

Favorites list is per-user in Windows 2000/XP and it's not a common location. You need to copy the files to your user profile as well. Each profile has a separate Favorites path, such as: C:\Documents and Settings\rameshs\Favorites.

The original Favorites list is under his Documents and
Settings location. When you click on Favorites from the
menu bar, you see "Add to Favorites" and "Organize
Favorites" then directly under that is the separator bar
then nothing. Is it possible that he has accidentally
shrunk the drop-down list to be invisible?

I have the same problem. For several months it was not a problem at all. Then one day I was manipulating the menu and it was reduced in size to add and organize favorites. in the meantime I am just managing the davorites menu in my user account from the file explorer. How would you go about resizing it. I have been in most of the tools I can think of and have tried to do the recommendation on the MS support site to no avail. Is there anyhting else to try?
