Favorites Folder - All items deleted

I shut down the computer last night and when I woke up and
booted it up - all my favorites and history were deleted.
I am not sure if anything else might have happend as of
yet. I run Norton System Works and do a scan of the
computer for problems weekly and antivirus scan almost
daily.

I am running IE 6 and WIN 2000 Professioanl. Please if
anyone knows what has happened or a way to get them all
back please let me know. Work from home and I need my
favorites. Thanks!!!

Had a similar incident happen to my boss' computer last
week. I am going to run Spybot on the computer today to
see if it fixes the problem. Adware can be a pesky little
problem.

I'll let you know if it works.
