Is there a way to get the Favorites drop down menu to display immediately
when clicked rather than having to click on the chevron symbols at the
bottom?

Thx
Dave.

Full Windows version? IE version?

Thanks Pa - that was it -
One can't leave this without the observation that the expression "Enable
Personalized Favorites Menu" obviously has absolutely nothing to do with
the LENGTH of a menu list.

MS is full of people with many skills I'm sure. Unfortunately, the English
language is not one of them.

Thank you for your patience

Dave

You're welcome.

I dunno what you thought "Enable personalized favorites menu" might do but
what you were seeing is what it does: Bookmarks for less-frequently visited
webpages are not displayed at first when you open Favorites from the Menu
Bar. If you wait long enough or click on the downward-pointing chevrons,
all bookmarks will display. It's been like this for quite some time, Dave.

You wanna try navigating around Vista ! ...hideous platform ...inasmuch
that everything seems to have been moved, or you have to go through about 6
hoops to create you own shortcut for basic thing, ...and security settings
are wound up as high as they'll go !
I've had to help a few people people with Vista based machines, ...and what
a major fight to drop a new mvps.org hosts file into the etc directory -
i.e. what on earth is all this crap about permissions ? ! # ~!!!
As soon as I sit in front of one now - the procedure is select "Windows
Classic" theme | select "Classic" Start Menu,
....then things are slightly less awful. :-)

regards, Richard
