fatal error driver

My computer shuts down when i am in the middle of doing
something. When it goes to auto reboot microsoft
analyzer program tells me i have a driver issue. I have
installed no new devices. I thought i might have a bug
so i ran norton antivirus. Clean bill fo health. Should
i do a total format and reinstall? Somebody, please tell
me no!!!

You may have a cpu fan failure, if not run MS updates

try doing a safe mode boot (F8). You can poke around and
see if something is up. I had that problem with a virus
that I could never figure our how I got.
