Fat Taskbar!

Suddenly, my taskbar has doubled in width! Anybody know why?

Do you mean "height"?

Point to the top edge and, when you see a double-headed up/down arrow,
left-click and drag the top edge down (half-way).

Hello,

Looks like the taskbar height was increased (I'm not sure what you mean by
width). To turn the taskbar to it's original state Right click on taskbar >
Uncheck 'Lock the taskbar' > then move your cursor to top edge of the
taskbar and drag the taskbar down. This should fix it. After that you might
want to lock the taskbar again.

Hi-- I have a new installation of XP Pro- my taskbar is double width and will
not resize-- with unlocking and dragging etc.-- what

If you have toolbars on the task bar on multiple lines, you won't be able to
reduce the task bar size to fewer than that number of lines. Put all the
toolbars on one line first.
