Note that although XP will not create a FAT32 partition larger than
32GB (because NTFS is a much better choice for such partitions) it
will have no trouble at all using such a partition that was created
elsewhere. For example, if you upgraded your Win98 system to WinXP, it
would have no problem with your 40GB FAT32 partition.
