Following my start with FastStone Image Viewer today, I have a couple
of basic queries. (In addition to the one I raised about JPG Comment
display earlier.)
With IrfanView, it is very easy for me to capture an image from
anywhere and save it as a new image file. With the image captured on
the clipboard by whatever method, I first click my IrfanView WinXP
launch icon and that opens a blank window. I press Ctrl+v to paste it
in, and then save it with a name of my choice. Done.
How about the equivalent with FastStone please? If I open FastStone, I
get the browser. Then I click the lower left pane, and paste to there.
But it seems to pick up the filename of whatever I was viewing before.
Can I open FastStone to an empty window, just as in IV?
Also, is it possible to Crop an image in FastStone? Or is it
exclusively a (very good) viewer?
