fast user switching changes screen resolution out of range

I have a 2 week old HP pavillion and added a second (limited) user, I can
switch to the limited user no problem, but when I change back to the admin
user the resolution changes out of range and all I get on the monitor is a
worning telling me to adjust it to the correct setting. Of course I cannot
change it because that is all I see, I have to hold to power switch to turn
computer off and restart. Then resolution is fine until I swith user and
switch back. No success with HP support as of now.
 
Thanks for that bulletin- I had found it in a search before but ignored it
since I have SP2 Preinstalled? I read a little more carefully and did a file
search for the.dll files. I found a later dated version of the Tsddd.dll,
but not the Wtsddd.dll? I am running a X86 Family Pentium so I assume that
means I should have both? Or is it different in the service pack?
