fast-playing sounds

A windows 2000 pc has the following problem: when I try to
play a media-file (mp3, wav, cda, etc) from the CD player
or the Hard Disk it is fast-playing the sounds.What seems
to be the problem? Thank you in advance.

Should be solved by reinstalling your sound drivers, see message:
