Fans, fans, and more fans???

My GIGABYTE GA-P35-DS3L mobo has the following 4 fan headers:

SYS_FAN1 & PWR_FAN which are 3-pin (GND-+12V-Sense)

SYS_FAN2 & CPU_Fan which are 4-pin (GND-+12V-Sense-speed control)


The CPU fan is self explanatory.

I have 2 fans that came stock with my case. A lower front fan drawing in
and a 120mm drawing out the back.
I added a third fan on the side where the vent holes are on this case
which draws air in toward the 8800GT.

Now I want to add a GPU cooler that needs a place to plug a fan into.

How can I accomplish this?
Do I use a power cable splitter to free up a header by running 2 fans
off one header?
Which fans should I pair up with each other?
Will that mess up the fan speed monitoring?

I think all my case fans are 3 pin so the SYS_FAN2 speed control doesn't
come into play...does it?

I'd like to add a "Fan Mate 2" into this mix for my 8800GT aftermarket
heatsink/cooler fan.

I have a P35-DS4, with apparently the same fan header setup. However it has an
additional 3-pin fan header named NB_Fan near the PCIe-1 slot.. My Lian-Li case
came with a front intake, top exhaust, side GPU, and rear exhaust fans. IIRC,
front goes to Sys_Fan2, top goes to PWR_Fan, side to NB_Fan, and rear to
Sys_Fan1.

Now I want to add a GPU cooler that needs a place to plug a fan into.

How can I accomplish this?

Does yours have the additional fan header?
