Failure to copy files

Hello,

I wanted to setup Fax on my machine. My OS is XP pro SP2. During the Setup
the XP pro SP2 disc was prompted for,
because my machine does not have i386. The computer is not copying the files
from the disc's i386 that was given to me.
My original installation disc is only XP pro SP1a and has the i386 folder.
Should I attempt the procedure with the SP1a?
If no, then what's the solution?

Are use talking about the Microsft SP2 CD that you can request to be
shipped to you? If yes, look on info on how the "slipstream" the SP2
inoto you XP SP1a CD and create a new install CD that has SP2 "merged"
into it.
