My original OS was XP Pro SP1a so is the installation CD.
The OS of mine has become via automatic upgrades SP2.
As it turned out to be the computer's OS was missing i386 folder and its
files required for the Fax service's installation.
To get the upgraded i386, I largely integrated my OS's installation folder
with Win. XP SP2, see MS article # 900871 that refers to XP home, XP pro, XP
pro SP 1a. But I have not run the "in-place" upgrade yet.
Should, or should I not run this upgrade?
Thanks for any advice.
