Failure to attach photo/file to (hotmail) message (system is Vist

I select 'attach' button, then slect 'photo' - my folders list appears down
left of screen; I select folder (any folder). The main window displays the
following: 'no photos in this folder'. Then a pop-up appears :- 'you have a
new image format in this folder - converter is downloading' . Nothing else
happens - the 'upload' button is grayed-out - end of story. (On my old pc
(XP) I follow the above steps and everything works fine - can it be Vista
problem?

Are you accessing the Hotmail account in Windows Mail or on the web?
