Hotmail picture attachments

Since I have installed Vista Ultimate my Hotmail account will not allow me to
attach pictures to an e-mail. When I click on attach a picture a pop-up box
states that it is downloading a picture format converter....after about 15
seconds the pop-up box dissapears and the attachment page then states "no
pictures in this folder"...I DO have pictures in the folder I have selected
(.jpg format). I contacted Hotmail and was instructed to clear all of my
Internet Explorer files and reset I.E. which I did....but unfortunately that
didn't correct the problem. I use Windows XP at my office and can upload
pictures from the same Hotmail account without any problems. Any ideas?

Same issue here. Odd, too, that it doesn't show the sample photos
shortcut... I have no answer to the problem, unfortunately...

The folder is a cd that I have burned of family photos. I can see the
folders on the cd but hotmail still insists that there are no photos on the
cd. I can open the cd and view the photos with any other photo program on my
machine so it's not the cd that is at fault. How do I "take ownership" of
the files on the cd???

I have the exact same problem! It drives me insane. I think I am going to
try and "dual boot" my laptop with Windows XP. Windows vista has some neat
things going for it, but it is FRUSTRATING! There are soo many bugs and
issues with it. If anyone finds a solution to this hotmail picture attaching
issue, please let me know. It would make my day for sure!
