failing to install an adittional DC

When installing an additional domain controller with name
EBRO running windows 2000, I receive the message:
"The operation failed because: Failed to modify the
necessary properties for the machine account EBRO$
"Access is denied. ""

And then prompts me to introduce "a username and password
with sufficient privileges in the domain to do the task."
I've used the administrator account to do it, but no luck.
I'm stuck.

The second one is the exact error message that you are getting but both are
similar.
