"Failed to Translate RomAddress"

I'm trying to install a "DPS Perception" capture card
onto an Windows 2000 Pro\Athlon 2400+\Asus A7N8X
Deluxe\512MB DDR3200 system. The Perception card doesn't
load during startup. The Event Viewer shows "Failed to
translate ROMAddress" message. Does anyone know what
this means & how to solve this? Thanks!

If your computer's BIOS has an option to "scan for
adapter BIOS", something like that (usually in advanced
settings), change that setting.
