failed to run dll

I wish it were as simple as something I'd recently installed. I suppose it could be the CSI 3 game.

Anyway's I'm now booting to this error message at every bootup now. and it says it's related to the x10net.dll. I go with report to MS, and they jump me to x10 home control web page where finding tech support for what's causing this is impossible.

I turned off the x10 service. Had zero effect.
event viewer shows errors on
Faulting application rundll32.exe, version 5.1.2600.2180, faulting module x10net.dll, version 2.0.0.40, fault address 0x000155b0.

Any fix for this ?

You might have meant this
X10Net 1.0 - Build 21.11882 X10NetUpdate.zip
But I found another link to x10 software

ftp://ftp.x10.com/pub/applications/drivers/x10drivers.exe
And though this particular file installed some other x10 stuff to it's own x10 folder, it didn't touch the x10net.dll And what it did install had zip to do with ATI.

I can only assume the CSI 3 game fiddled with something cause that's whenthe popup's started to appear.
Then again, I have auto updates turned on, so it might have snuck something flaky in on me.

This x10 it seems is extremely sensitive. I've had x10 problems before, and they've all been different.
All these problems about something I don't even use [the remote control for the ATI].
But you can't remove the remote control software cause then things get even worse.

I had same problem. Went to ATI, installed current "remote wonder" driver.
Problem solved.
First time poster here.
Hope this helps.
