I have a laptop with Windows XP Professional on it.
Yesterday, my uni network admin modified the network
settings (either joining a domain or workgroup to access
network resources), what happened next was I couldn't
login with my original username & password, and the
network admin's password didn't work either. It is the
only administrator account on the laptop, I have no
password recovery disk and complete formatting is not an
option for me. I have tried booting into safe mode, but
the user name & password still don't work, any
suggestions how to get around this?
