Failed Boot Fasttrak TX2000

My Raid 2+0 Stripe Array went offline for some reason. I ended up deleting
and re-establlishing the array however I can now no longer boot up.

The array went offline when I was accessing a secured site. My computer
froze so I turned it off and rebooted. The array would not come back online;
one of the HD's was not getting recongnized. I then deleted the array and
re-established it with the auto setup for the PCI card.

I can get to the windows logo screen where it's trying to load the settings
but they never get loaded. The system doesn't freeze. It just keeps trying
to load the startup settings? I tried reloading XP (I remembered to hit F6
to load the drivers for fasttrak) but if I try the repair or new load for
windows xp I get the following error:

"Examing 152634 MB Disk 0 at Id 0 on bus 0 on Fasttrak ... "

I'm using two 80 gig hard drives and have had no problems for a couple of
years.

I tried switching the Fasttrak card to a new PCI slot but I get the same
error. I have also swapped my RAM cards. I don't think it's a hardware
problem, though, but probably a software problem. I was using SP2 with the
latest securtiy release as of around the 27th of December 2007.

Thanks,
Mark

1. Yours is decidedly *not* a Windows problem
2. You have, indeed, experienced a hardware failure.
3. Read the FastTrack manual for methods to determine if the failure is
either A, FastTrack PCI card
or B, Hard drive

My issue was not hardware related. I think the issued was caused between one
or more of the following conflicts: windows update, fasttrak driver, defrag
(diskkeeper) and/or explorer.

I ended up re-formatting my harddrives with my original xp cd and no
hardware changes.
