I'm a newbie when it comes to active directory, so i'm stuck once
more. Well the last few weeks permission for my accout has been acting
up for me. I have pretty much all the administrator groups added to my
username and permission are correct on the folders. When i try and
access a folder it will tell me that i do not have access. As i was
going through active directory i noticed that in the group listing for
administrators that my username is faded. No idea what that means or
how to fix it besides maybe deleting my username and readding it. But
i would like 2 know how to fix it instead of trying to go around the
problem.

Thanks for your help,

-Erik

Hello Erik, if a field is faded in AD Users & Computers it depends on that
you only have read rights to the particular attribute on the particular
object.
