hi,is there anyway to do a factory reset without the factory reset CD, as i
believe that mine is broken, PLEASE help me, the button for the factory reset
does not appear when i put the CD in. Is there no alternative way apart from
using the CD or sending it off to an expert?

Since you haven't told us the mftr. of your computer, there is no way to
answer you. Contact your computer mftr.'s tech support for the answer.
It would be smart to order a Restore Disk from them anyway.

Thanks for helping me, i did not know that you could order a restore CD, that
really helps. However, this may be a really stupid question, but what is a
mftr.? and is the restore CD free? and how do i order it? thanks for the help
you have already provided me with.

"Mftr." is an abbreviation for "manufacturer". I can't tell you whether
or not your computer mftr. charges for restore disks. You will have to
call them and ask them. HP charges around $25.

Look in the paperwork that came with your computer for how to contact
your computer mftr. or go to their website and look for tech support
contact information.

hello again, thanks for telling me what mftr. stands for. My manufacturer is
Tiny, however, they went bust, so is there no one else i could contact to
order a new restore CD? Thanks for the help again.

I got this link by Googling for "restore CD for Tiny Computer":

http://www.gennersales.co.uk/recovery/Tiny.htm

There may be others. I can't vouch for any of them, of course.
