The network cable is unplugged, its not though. I was told
to do this:
Remove message in the system tray that the network cable
is unplugged.
Right click Start and select Properties.
On the Taskbar tab, click Hide inactive icons if it's not
already checked.
Click the Customize button.
Scroll down to find the Local Area Connection: network
cable is unplugged item (it will only appear here if it
has displayed in the past).
In the dropdown box that appears when you click the item,
select Always Hide.
Click OK/Apply and then OK.
But i dont have those options on my windows 2000 pro just
all about start menu and very few about task bar, please
can anyone help this is really killing me. Any help much
appreciated
