ez_SP.exe - What is it?

I invariably find this running in startup and in a folder in the registry
under Japan Limited Inc or something to that effect. I have deleted from
startup and the registry and forgot the actual folder name, but ez_SP.exe is
the actual file at startup. Is it a virus because I get about 20-30 spam
e-mail everyday and the to/from and subject headings are generally off
shoots of my e-mail address. I checked for the "Klez" virus on this but no
evidence of that virus or any variants. I run Spybot and Adware as well as
Spy Sweeper and always come up clean other than the occasional "Hitbox" and
"Alexia" tracking cookies. How am I getting this junk e-mail and how is the
best way to rid myself of this problem, I am using Mailwasher to bounce
these e-mails to no avail. I am running XP Pro.

Any light on this is greatly appreciated

TIA

Not sure, but I do know that 90% of the spam E-mail come
from China. Me, what I would do is get highjacker and
post to a help form. they can help you id which to
delete.

A quick Google for "ez_SP.exe" didn't bring up anything, and that is in
itself suspicious. There are thousands of viruses out in the wild; Klez
is only one of them. You should be running a current (post-2002
version) antivirus using updated definitions and a firewall.
