extreme virus winxpdesktop

i have a virus that has infected desktop computer.I can't
seem to gain access to the internet to download ASW(Beta
1). i have just installed ASW(Beta 1)on this laptop, but
i do not have the ability to link them together.

Microsoft Antispyware is not an antivirus application. If you have access
to a machine which can write CD's, I would recommend a combination of
Microsoft Antispyware, and Trend Micro's System Cleaner along with current
definitions for that.

Get the sysclean package from here:

http://www.trendmicro.com/download/dcs.asp

http://www.trendmicro.com/download/pattern.asp

and place sysclean.exe and the contents of the unzipped pattern file in the
same folder and run them on the infected machine.

Get HijackThis.exe from
http://tomcoyote.org/hjt/hjt199//HijackThis.exe It will
fit on a floppy.

Open it (you can leave it on the floppy) and select the
SCAN AND SAVE LOG option.

Save the log to the floppy, move it back to the good
computer and then send it to me via email as an
attachment. I will be glad to look at it
and maybe I can tell you what to do to get rid of it for
good.
