Error 1324

F

Floyd Weitzel

I have a dell inspiron 2650, 20 GB HD with an ext 160 GB
HD, XP Home Ed. I installed MS ASW about 1 1/2 weeks ago.
I installed it on the ext drive. Everything was ok until
this morning. This morning MS ASW did not load or any
other programs on the ext HD. I found the ext drive was
now F where it was E - I also found another drive E
(seems to be somehow related to my 20 Gb int HD). Tried
to uninstall E drive to get back to normal. I cannot. I
then tried to refer everything associated with orig E
drive to F. (Properties on desktop and some register
entries I could find) MS ASW still would not work. Tried
to uninstall and reinstall MS ASW and got "Error 1324.The
path Microsoft antispyware contains an invalid
character". I get the same when I try to repair. What
should I do - any idea what happened?

Thank you
