extracting text around the @ symbol

I have been sent multiple pieces of data all in one field. How can I extract
the text surrounding the @?

You can use Text to Columns to separate the data into individual cells using
the @ as a separator.

=LEFT(A1,(FIND("@",A1,1)-1))&MID(A1,FIND("@",A1,1)+1,999)
