Extracting Images From Powerpoint

Tiny

I have Office 97. I've used Powerpoint to create a simple
presentation to document the restoration of an antique auto of mine.
Each slide contains two images, each with a text box below
An area newspaper has been putting my presentation on line,
on their web site in segments. I recently sent the reporter an update
of my project but he says he can't extract the images from the
presentation so I had to burn the images to CD & send them to him I'm
stuck with dial-up & e-mailing them would take hours.
I can extract images from the presentation by right clicking
on the image, clicking on <copy>, then pasting. I have Win98SE. The
reporter uses XP & advises he has no copy or cut function on a right
click and <edit><copy or cut> doesn't work either. I'm at a loss as
how to advise him since I've never used XP. Can anyone advise on the
correct way to extract images from Powerpoint using XP?

I sent him the presestation as a .ppt on a CD. The images are in the
..jpg format. Thanks for your help.

You could always use the Save as Web page feature, and all the images will
be placed in a separate folder.

The easiest way would be to ask the newspaper reporter to save your
presentation to an HTML format (Save As => Change type to HTML). This
creates a new folder with all the images as jpgs (and various other files as
well).

While the pictures do not keep their original names, they are all there. He
can copy these to where ever he needs them.

Thanks Bill. I sent your reply to him. We'll see what happens.
