Extract music from Email

In Outlook Express I could do the following to extract music from an Email
but it doesn't work in Windows Mail:

All settings are same as they are in OE on my XP machine, It's the one with
Vista/Windows Mail that don't let me extract files as in OE, embed pics,
wav, bkgrnd okay.
I do not scan Email on any PC with AV Apps. Someone in a NG last year lead
me to why I didn't need to.

Click Tools>Options>Send, Change settings to Plain Text for sending, Click
Apply, then OK, then highlight the message and click Forward and the
attached music file should appear just below the Subject line where you
can then click File/Save Attachment.

I checked the Security tab and made changes you noted, still not working.
Also tried friends PC, will not work either.
Yes I went through the OE set-up step-by-step. That all works great on my
PC with OE.

I Embedded a wav file in a Email on my PC with OE and then sent it to my PC
with WM plus my friends and can't extract from either one. I tried 3
different sound files. WM used to let me extract like OE but now it won't.
Just beginning to wonder if an update "fixed" that in WM?

Yes I could but it was over 6 months ago when I was able to do it & Restore
don't go back that far.
